On the initiative of this project, Bogoss-Lacoste, who had already released the rap mixtapes "Marseille City Game", ‘‘SOUTHFRAP VOL. 1’’ marks the birth of the Southfrap Alliance label, which is mostly a hard music crew that brings together several French producers and rappers.

If the frapcore is a mix of French rap and hardcore music, the southfrap takes the same formula but focuses on honoring the emerging scene of southern France.

Bathed in the heat of the south, there are as much reggaeton influences as jungle or footwork...

Ranging from classics remixes to original productions on which rappers rap with the ‘‘singing accent’’ of southern France, the southfrap wants to be frontal and does not hesitate to mix styles with power.

Main point : southern France, with Marseille as capital.

Marseille, where the rap lifestyle has gradually established itself as a dominant model, adapting to the codes and moods of the city, depicting it in its myths and realities with as much heart as possible, finally exporting it and making it shine.
